My admiration for Donald Trump's leadership is unwavering, and I eagerly anticipate his return to the White House in November. I truly believe in his ability to steer our nation in the right direction.
Yet, as happy as I am to see my buddy Matt Margolis's regular columns showing how Trump is doing much, much better than President Joe Biden in the polls and how Biden is losing voters like he is his mind, there is always a nagging feeling in the back of my own, better-functioning mind: "None of this matters; the fix is already in. Biden's handlers will steal 2024 like they did 2020."
This does not mean I will not bother voting in November, nor does it mean I am being all doom and gloom about it. After all, as I said in the beginning of March, if 2020 were indeed stolen, what makes you think they won't steal 2024?
It looks like we have found one method by which Biden's handlers intend to keep their puppet in office, and that is the border. I know we've talked about how illegal immigrants are a permanent underclass of votes from which Democrats can harvest, but J. Christian Adams recently discussed in a recent piece that registering illegal immigrants to vote is already illegal.
As he said, it is already a felony to falsely file a voter registration form and claim citizenship as a non-citizen. Moreover, the supposed "loophole" that allows illegal immigrants to vote does not actually exist (so that story about South Carolina supposedly handing out voter registration forms to "newcomers" may not actually be true, but it is still worth investigating).

Still, by definition, stealing an election is breaking the law, so if they steal 2024, what is stopping them from breaking or working around those same laws to do so?
Representative Chip Roy (R-Texas) and Speaker Mike Johnson (R-La.) recently introduced the Safeguard American Voter Eligibility (SAVE) Act, which would tighten the measures Mr. Adams discussed above.
Roy's bill would require in-person proof of citizenship when registering people to vote and require states to remove non-citizens from voter rolls. There are just five problems:
1. If the bill passes the House, the Senate will kill it, and Biden will veto it.
2. If it does become law (unlikely), it may be too slow to implement.
3. If it is implemented in time for November, blue strongholds will ignore it.
4. Not only will blue strongholds ignore it, but the provision requiring states to remove non-citizens from voter rolls "gives states no-cost access to Department of Homeland Security and Social Security Administration databases to do so." Given that Alejandro Mayorkas runs DHS, it could block or hinder states' attempts to remove non-citizens and dead people from their voter rolls.
5. Even if the opposite of these events happens, leftists will abuse the exceptions to rules outlined in Roy's bill about providing proof of citizenship for Americans to accommodate illegals.
After all, Mr. Adams did provide examples of non-citizens voting or being registered to vote, including in Allegheny County, Pa., and across New Jersey, and detailed how sanctuary cities are protecting them.
Like I said, I am not trying to be pessimistic or rob PJ Media readers of hope. I am simply saying that ensuring election integrity from here on out is going to be a difficult process and should be a priority of a second Trump Administration, assuming he is able to overcome any shenanigans in this election.
